More Easter Fun!
The Easter Bunny paid a visit and left Lily and Vivian their Easter baskets in the front garden this morning. Lily was most excited about the dry-erase markers in her basket, and Viv really liked the bath toys the Bunny brought her. And yes, of course the chocolate was a big hit too...so much so that Lily was too wired to take her afternoon nap!
Viv actually missed the morning Easter egg hunt since she was napping--which was probably best because she would've gotten frustrated crawling around the backyard trying to keep up with the big kids. Lily and her friends, however, had a BLAST! Lily found about 12 (out of 4o or so) eggs, with a little help here and there. BeBe dog also found at least one egg too--it looked like she was trying to bury it, but we managed to get it away from her.
The girls also did some crafty art with Easter stickers and their fancy new pens before we all had a fairly relaxing brunch together (well, Lily was kinda in a mood, but she got over it). Vivian learned how to open the plastic eggs to get to the raisins inside--her prefered method is throwing the eggs down onto the floor. She's also been trying to climb inside her Easter basket, without success.
It was definitely a fun-filled day for the girls; we're sure Lily will be talking about the Easter Bunny until her birthday rolls around in August!
